AdMob Dashboard Configuration

Step 1 — Open the Mediation Tab

Sign in to your Google AdMob account and select Mediation from the left‑hand side menu.

Step 2 — Create a Mediation Group

Under the Mediation groups tab, click Create mediation group.

Step 3 — Select Ad Format & Platform

In the New mediation group dialog:

  • Platform: Android
  • Ad format: choose one of Banner, Interstitial, or Rewarded

Click Continue to proceed.

Step 4 — Name the Group & Attach an Ad Unit

Configure the group with the following values:

Click Add Ad Units and select the ad unit that will receive the custom parameter.

Step 5 — Add AdMob as an Ad Source

In the Ad sources section, click Add Ad Source and select the AdMob Network. Confirm that its partnership status appears as Active.

Step 6 — Add a Custom Event

In the Waterfall section, click ADD CUSTOM EVENT.

Step 7 — Fill in the Custom Event Dialog

In the Add custom event pop‑up, provide:

All values required in this dialog will be provided by the Empower network team.

Click Continue to save the custom event, then save the mediation group.


2. Waterfall Source & Mapping

Step 8 — Open Waterfall Sources

Return to Mediation from the side bar and open the Waterfall sources tab. The newly created Custom Event should be listed there.

Step 9 — Manage Mappings

Click Manage mappings, select the ad unit that will use the custom parameter, then click Add mapping.

Step 10 — Provide Mapping Details

Fill in the mapping fields using the values supplied by Empower:
